WHAT DO WE DO?

Forward Logistics is an intrastate and interstate motor carrier specializing in Loose Cargo Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Full Trailer Load (FTL), oversized cargo, and special project cargo delivery. In human words, we move cargo from point A to point B on the road with a truck.

ARE YOU ONE OF US?

This position belongs to the Warehouse Team and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. This position has overall responsibility for fulfilling shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse from Mondays thru Fridays 6:00 AM thru the end of shift.

Requirements:

Fulfill warehouse operations including filling customer orders, shipping and receiving, and warehouse upkeep. Unload shipment from 3rd party carrier/vendor trucks. Inspect incoming shipment for potential exceptions and mark them with correct identifying information. Generate proper documentation records for inbound and outbound shipments to supervisor. Maintain site inventory by assisting in inventory audits. Maintain warehouse inventory, equipment, and documentation according to company protocol. Comply with company and OSHA policies and procedures. Report workplace hazards or injuries immediately. Assume other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience working at commercial warehouse setting. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions/manuals. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to write clear correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers, vendors, or company employees. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Current valid drivers license with clear record. Forklift operator training may be required in certain locations. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination or education and work experience.
