Job Description

Warehouse Associate Contract:

12-month contract to permanent hire

PAY:

21.25

Contract:

12-month contract with possible conversion to direct (this depends on your performance and attendance.)

Responsibilities:

Completes assigned warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse and inventory control, while achieving the highest standards of Quality, Productivity, and Customer Service levels. Cycle Counter - accurately count parts in locations and enter information into scan gun accurately. store and scan parts to locations operate battery powered cart. Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Uses powered industrial equipment and process shipments of federally regulated goods, obtaining, and maintaining the required certifications and adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws. Responsible for meeting and maintaining the required levels of performance (e.g., quality, productivity) within the assigned area. Complies with the Value-Added Production System (VPS) within the assigned area and maintains essential supplies on assigned equipment and/or work area, ensuring a safe and clean environment is maintained at all times. Receiving Sorter/ Put-away- remove parts from shipping cartons and check for accuracy, scan parts to WMS with scan gun, sort parts by location in warehouse accurately store and scan parts to locations. operate battery powered cart.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Steady work history 2-3 years of relevant warehouse work experience. 2-3 year of previous logistics/distribution experience. Previous logistics or distribution experience will be required. Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality - SAP preferred. Proficient written and oral communication skills.
