In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse distribution, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient shipping and receiving processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and inventory control within a fast-paced e-commerce setting. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and ensure accurate order picking. Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments according to customer specifications. Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and documenting transactions. Stock shelves and organize warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and facilitate quick access for picking and packing tasks. Support warehouse distribution operations by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and ensuring timely dispatch of orders. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper equipment operation procedures and conducting routine inspections of warehouse tools and machinery. Requirements Proven warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred. Valid certification for forklift operation; reach truck experience is a plus. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques. Comfortable using equipment such as pallet jacks and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
