We're a sub-contracting company working in and around Southern California. When not driving, you'd be expected to help our around the shop and performing other tasks related to maintaining the warehouse. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are handled with care and precision. Assist in warehouse organization by moving inventory, managing stock levels, and maintaining a clean workspace. Serve as a warehouse worker by supporting team members with daily operations, resolving minor issues on-site, and promoting a positive work environment. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow safety protocols diligently during all load & unload activities, route driving, and heavy lifting tasks to prevent accidents or injuries. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route planning and navigation. Hands-on warehouse experience involving loading/unloading cargo and inventory management. Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles with manual transmission; a clean driving record is mandatory. Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and heavy lifting techniques to handle diverse cargo types safely. Ability to perform physical tasks involving moving heavy items regularly while maintaining attention to detail.
