Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking two reliable and motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team on a temporary basis through October . In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, stocking, picking, and movement of beverage products within the warehouse while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, product quality, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Those hired will receive first opportunity for permanent positions that become available if a non-seasonal employee departs. Duties Utilize our electronic picking system to accurately pull orders by stop for delivery routes. Rotate, stock, and ship the oldest product first (FIFO) while maintaining thorough knowledge of supplier dating methods and requirements. Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently using electronic tools. Load and unload trucks with correct items and quantities, ensuring efficient and damage-free handling. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, scrubbers, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and professional manner. Receive incoming product, verify correct items, quantities, and quality before signing for receipt. Strip route trucks after deliveries and prepare them for the next day. Repack or rebuild pallets as needed to maintain product integrity. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization to high sanitary standards. Perform pre-trip inspections on equipment and follow prescribed maintenance guidelines. Ensure all product movement is supported by proper paperwork and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity. Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and contribute to a safe work environment. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet daily productivity goals. Qualifications Previous warehouse or distribution experience (1-3 years preferred but not required). Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided for qualified candidates). Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Comfortable using technology and mobile devices for electronic order picking. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and minimizing product damage. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in a cool warehouse environment. Reliable, dependable, and flexible with changing priorities. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse practices preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent.
