Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. Your proactive approach and strong work ethic will contribute to efficient warehouse distribution and overall operational success. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. Responsibilities Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately. Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Conduct load & unload activities for incoming supplies and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper handling and safety compliance under OSHA standards. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks by organizing storage areas, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse supervisor directives. Valid certifications in forklift operation, reach truck driving, crane operation, and heavy equipment handling preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards for warehouse operations and materials handling procedures. Experience in shipping & receiving processes, order picking & packing, and load & unload activities. Proven ability to operate pallet jacks, order pickers, heavy machinery, and other warehouse equipment safely. Prior warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous for leadership responsibilities. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
