8-hour shift, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Position Summary Rockmount is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our small warehouse team. This position is responsible for order fulfillment, packaging, shipping and receiving, inventory support, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. In addition to standard warehouse duties, this role includes preparing and packing orders for Amazon and retail customers. Many orders require specific packing procedures, labeling, documentation, and attention to detailed packing instructions. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable following step-by-step instructions, and able to work independently while also being a strong team player. Duties and Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently. Fulfill Amazon, retail, and direct customer orders according to specific requirements. Follow detailed packing instructions for Amazon and retail shipments. Ensure orders are packed, labeled, and documented correctly before shipment. Perform shipping and receiving duties. Package items carefully to ensure safe delivery to customers. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed. Assist with order picking and inventory management. Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols. Work closely with the warehouse supervisor and team members to support daily operations. Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Previous warehouse or similar work experience preferred. Experience with order fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping preferred. Experience with Amazon, retail, or e-commerce order fulfillment is a plus. Forklift experience preferred. Familiarity with inventory management and cycle counts is a plus. Ability to carefully follow detailed packing, labeling, and shipping instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational skills. Ability to lift, move, and package warehouse materials safely. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
