We are currently seeking Equipment Repair Technicians to join our team. The Equipment Repair Technician triages rental home respiratory equipment and performs required repairs, calibration, and recertification in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Lincare guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:
Repairs and recertifies medical equipment to include home ventilators, concentrators, and other respiratory equipment per manufacturer guidelines Executes testing procedures utilizing proprietary test equipment, ensures compliance to codes/manufacturer's instructions, troubleshoots, and sterilizes equipment for patient use Performs preventive maintenance and manufacturer required function testing Triages returned devices and determines proper disposition Maintains a safe and organized production/test area Documents and maintains records all for all repair and function test of equipment
Qualifications:
Must be mechanically inclined, having an aptitude and interest in understanding how machines and mechanical systems work Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) preferred, but not required Must be adept at using tools and comfortable with basic machinery Work independently with minimal supervision in a production environment
Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. This employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
