K About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing manufacturing organization, to hire a Warehouse Associate. This position supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement activities while ensuring accuracy throughout the logistics process.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting project teams with material coordination. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments from suppliers. Verify deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders. Enter inventory and shipment information into the ERP system. Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations. Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and project teams. Package and prepare outbound orders for shipment. Load and unload materials and equipment as needed. Track shipments and ensure materials reach the appropriate teams. Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding returns, repairs, and shipment status. Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records.
Qualifications:
Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations. Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Certified on a forklift. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse or manufacturing environment.
