Job Description

Your impact will be noticed and rewarded, as you seek to further our company, our customers, and one another. At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is currently $22.75 per hour.
What You'll Do:
Maintain inventory of boxes on packaging line. Inspect packaging materials for defects. Inspect final cheese product for quality. Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following Good Manufacturing Practices. Package final cheese product into totes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs. Ability to understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment and comply with all safety practices. Maintain a clean work area according to Good Manufacturing Practices. Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and incoming/outgoing shifts. Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment that operates 24/7/365, this includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position will be exposed to working in a wet/slippery environment with loud noise in varying degrees of temperature Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods Must be able to lift and carry up to 38 pounds Frequent walking and standing Climb up and down stairs/ladders, bending and reaching required
