Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Saw Operator / Material Handler, where your expertise will drive precision and efficiency in our production process. In this role, you will operate various cutting and fabrication machinery, handle materials with care, and ensure that every component meets our high standards of quality. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver top-tier products to our customers while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Safely operate band saws, magnetic based drills, ironworkers, and punches to process structural steel and other materials according to prints. Manage material flow by loading, unloading, and transporting raw materials and finished components using forklifts, cranes, or hand tools. Read blueprints, nested cut sheets, and materials lists accurately and efficiently. Accurately label and piece mark all items being processed. Keep work areas organized and clean; adhere to safety protocols related to machine operation, tooling handling, and material storage. Assist in assembly processes when required, ensuring components are fabricated correctly for final product assembly. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing equipment such as Forklifts, Band Saws, Ironworkers, Punches, Magnetic based drills, ect. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings confidently. Familiarity with tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding techniques, and fabrication methods. Ability to use and accurately read a tape measure. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tolerances. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely; experience with cranes is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing environments including proper handling of steel and power tools. Join us in a role where your skills make a tangible impact!
