Job Title Material Handler - 2 / OV Job Number 53-7062.00 Department Outside Services Reports to OS and Material Control Manager Primary Position Objectives Required to operate hand truck and/or forklift truck in the movement of materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks. Position Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Description of Duties Scan and verify serialized parts into Global Shop Create and receive PO's into Global Shop and notify proper people of shipment. Performs various material handling duties within the facility. Manually load finished product on skid, hand truck or forklift. Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas. May be required to clean up and dispose of scrap, cardboard boxes etc. and places in proper containers or designated areas. Required to move incoming and outgoing product as required. Required to weigh and log incoming jobs to department. Required to package orders for shipment. Back up to material handler at 28 Spring Lane. Lean Initiatives Observes company processes and makes recommendations for improvement. Participates in continuous improvement projects. Other Maintains adherence to company policies, environmental and safety standards, and good housekeeping standards. May be required to assist or otherwise instruct other personnel. Performs other duties as may be required. Attendance is an essential function of the job.
