General Laborers (Landscaping & Maintenance) Full Time |

Meriden, CT Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00 pm

Job Summary:

The Carabetta Companies is seeking reliable and hardworking Laborers to support our property management operations, with a primary focus on landscaping and general property maintenance. This role is essential in maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor common areas to a high standard Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow removal, and debris cleanup Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently Perform general labor tasks including painting, minor repairs, cleaning, and hauling materials Assist with property inspections and report maintenance issues to supervisors Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Previous landscaping or general labor experience preferred but not required Ability to operate basic landscaping tools and equipment Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting Comfortable working in outdoor environments for extended periods The above job description and duties highlight the primary and most critical aspects of the position but, in no way, include all expectations or required responsibilities.
