PM Job Summary:
Are you dependable, accountable, punctual, and ready to be part of a team that values your hard work? Dalene Flooring is looking for a motivated Warehouse Team Member who is eager to grow with a company that's been a trusted name in flooring for over 70 years. In this role, you'll support daily warehouse operations including shipping/receiving, inventory handling, and material delivery. This is a hands-on position with room for growth in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
About Dalene Flooring:
Dalene Flooring Carpet One has been family-owned and operated since 1949 and is the largest independent flooring retailer in Connecticut. Our mission is to be a floor-covering resource that meets the needs and expectations of our customers while creating an environment where quality, integrity, and teamwork are vehicles for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with deliveries to customer homes Load and unload trucks using forklift (training provided if needed) Keep the warehouse clean and follow all safety procedures Prep materials for the next day
Additional Duties:
Receive and stock materials accurately Maintain weekly inventory counts and warehouse organization Additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry 45-55 pounds consistently
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
  • Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
  • Basic computer skills are a plus
  • Must have a good MVR (motor vehicle record)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
