In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to various locations while providing excellent customer service. You'll also assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory to ensure smooth daily logistics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with warehouse skills in a fast-paced environment that values your initiative and dedication. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction. Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean work environment. Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments and obtaining signatures or proof of delivery from customers. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and warehouse activities for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving boxes or equipment regularly. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools; forklift certification is a plus. Knowledge of route planning and driving safety regulations; experience with route driving is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for load & unload procedures and inventory management. Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn new skills is essential.
