Warehouse Associate - Branch Operations

Summary:

The Branch Operations - Warehouse/Dock Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day branch operations with a primary focus on warehouse and cylinder dock activities. This role ensures the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and gas cylinders, while maintaining high standards of safety, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and customer-oriented, with an interest in developing sales and customer service skills over time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive, store, pick, and ship materials while maintaining accurate inventory control. Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials. Transport materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

• Safely load, unload, inspect, and handle gas cylinders and hard goods
• Support customers at the dock and provide a positive customer experience
• Assist with order preparation, inventory tracking, and load sheets
• Occasionally make local deliveries of hard goods and flammable/non-flammable gas cylinders using a company vehicle and complete required inspections/documentation Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Understand hazards associated with industrial gases and proper handling techniques. Ensure materials are properly secured and compliant with transportation and storage requirements. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent [ Warehouse, dock, or hands-on operational experience preferred Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Customer service mindset with interest in learning sales Valid driver's license and willingness to make occasional deliveries (required) Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Frequently required to stand. Frequently required to walk. Occasionally required to sit. Occasionally operate equipment. Frequently required to lift/push/carry items 50lbs unassisted and above 50 pounds with assistance. Occasionally work in high, precarious places. Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals. Continually exposed to outside weather conditions. Frequently exposed to very loud noises (example: Tanks banging to the floor). Frequently use specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles such as Forklifts, pallet jacks and motor vehicles.

Hours of Operation :

Mon-Fri:

7:00 am-4:30 pm,

Saturday:

8:00 am-12:00PM

• Employees must be willing to work at least two Saturdays per month between the hours of 8am-12pm
