General Laborer

Reybold, a growing Construction and Property Management company located in Bear, DE, is seeking a motivated and dependable laborer to join our commercial construction team. A General Laborer in Reybold's Construction Building Ops Department is responsible for any combination of the following duties as necessary for Landscaping, Fleet, and/or Construction Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use of powered equipment to perform tasks Shoveling, raking, and spreading dirt, stone, blacktop, and other materials Using small mechanical construction equipment such as plate tampers, rammers, and other small compaction equipment Using small gas-powered hand tools such as cut-off saws, pumps, and post hold drillers Sweeping debris from building sites Loading trash and debris out of buildings Cleaning building prior to occupancy Spreading fertilizer and grass seed. Laying Sod Prune, trim, and plant trees, shrubs, and hedges Willingly performs other labor tasks as needed Light rough carpentry work including use of hand tolls and electric power tools including saws, drills and screwdrivers Capable of being trained to operate a 10,000 lb. capacity telehandler to load material into and out of buildings Ability to work independently Additional Responsibilities Cleaning and organizing materials in storage trailers Cleaning and maintaining heavy and light equipment Education and/or Experience Qualifications Valid Driver's License Entry Level Position no formal training or education needed Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions Ability to operate small mechanical construction equipment and gas-powered hand tools Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.
