Warehouse Helper

Warehouse Helper Job Description General Refrigeration Company is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse operations. This role assists with receiving, organizing, staging, and distributing materials and equipment, while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. The Warehouse Helper works closely with the warehouse team to ensure materials are available and ready to support field operations. Role and Responsibilities Assist with daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, staging, and issuing materials and equipment Load and unload deliveries using appropriate tools and equipment Organize inventory and maintain proper storage locations Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing materials for job sites Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, tools, and equipment Perform basic inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager Follow all safety policies and procedures and report hazards or incidents immediately Support warehouse staff with general labor tasks as assigned Assist with maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring safe operating conditions Qualifications and Required Experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid drivers license and ability to obtain DOT card Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily operational needs Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to become certified

Physical Requirements:

Fast-paced warehouse environment Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse conditions May require occasional weekend or extended hours based on operational need
