Production / Warehouse Associate

About VGBroker Inc We are an eCommerce company that sells a few million dollars a year in new, pre-owned and refurbished video game products. We utilize high software like online inventory management and CRM applications to enhance our operations and operate a modern custom-built modern Laravel / PHP application for automating back-end business policies through various API's to shipping partners, marketplaces, etc. Leaning on automation and advanced technology gives our scrappy company of less than 20 associates competitive advantages over our competitors. However, we still are dealing with cleaning and refurbishing pre-owned products, so our business involves quite a bit of manual labor and hard work.

Pay Range:

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour $16.00 to $17.00 per hour during the Training Window. $18.00 per hour after the Training Window.

Training Window:

There is a 90 day trial period / training window. Within the 90 day window the company will make a final decision as to whether or not to retain you as permanent hire.

Regular Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break) Very rare hour cuts - consistent 40-hour work weeks During peak seasons, additional shifts may be required on Saturdays.

Overtime Opportunities:

Offered from October 1st to December 20th , up to 10 additional hours per week for efficient warehouse associates. Overtime may also be available outside this period as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to stand for extended periods and routinely lift up to 50 lbs. Perform various tasks on the production line, including testing , refinishing, detailing, and packaging bundled products. Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks. Follow safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with team members. Meet production targets / deadlines while maintaining high standards. Willingness to cross-training and engaged in different job roles as needed (For example to fill in for absent associates, satisfy a temporary need, etc.)

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus. Ability to read and interpret work instructions and follow standard operating procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. We cross-train our employees to foster teamwork and provide flexibility in operations. This provides team members a deeper understanding of different roles and enables them to support each other.
