• person About Us Altelix designs and manufactures weatherproof electrical enclosures and accessories. Our operations are based in a clean, air-conditioned warehouse facility in Boca Raton. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently based on pick lists
• Pick, organize, and supply materials, parts, and products for the production team based on workorders or pick lists
• Prepare shipments UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS
• Generate UPS and FedEx shipping labels and process shipments
• Load and unload shipping Containers
• Receive incoming shipments and process returns
• Enter shipments and return data into the computer system
• Perform Quality Control (QC) inspections on products received from vendors and insure the products meet quality standards and specifications
• Fix and maintain proper bin locations within the warehouse
• Organize and allocate incoming items to proper storage locations
• Put inventory items away accurately and efficiently
• Dispose of cardboard and remove trash to maintain cleanliness
• Assist with general warehouse and production activities
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years prior warehouse experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated with a positive and upbeat attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high accountability
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent in reading and writing English
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Forklift experience is a major plus (not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (up to 100 lbs. with assistance)
• Ability to stand and work on feet for up to 8 hours per day
