We support shipboard maintenance, repair, emergency services, and project logistics at major seaports worldwide. Our operations require reliable warehouse handling, accurate inventory control, and strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials used in the marine industry. Position Summary We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Storekeeper with strong warehouse experience and good mechanical knowledge. The ideal candidate should be able to manage warehouse operations, handle tools and materials, prepare shipments, inspect returned equipment, and assist with simple mechanical repair, assembly, and testing work. Experience with welding, machine repair, maritime materials, and ship repair projects is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations and keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe. Pack toolboxes, equipment, and materials according to requests from the logistics department. Receive, unpack, inspect, count, and document returned tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain, clean, repair, and test tools, machines, and warehouse equipment when required. Assist with simple mechanical and electrical assembly projects. Perform physical inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and update the ERP/inventory system. Manage all incoming and outgoing materials, tools, and equipment. Prepare documentation for shipments, returns, and internal material transfers. Purchase consumables and materials from approved vendors as requested. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and the logistics department to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods. Evaluate cost-effective shipping options and assist with scheduling shipments. Follow and enforce company warehouse policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Support emergency and urgent maritime project requirements when needed. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience. Good knowledge of mechanical tools, machines, and materials. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Ability to inspect, maintain, and repair tools and equipment. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily warehouse operations. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with logistics, suppliers, and project teams. Preferred Qualifications Maritime, ship repair, or industrial maintenance experience. Welding experience. Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining machines or mechanical equipment. Knowledge of European maritime electrical systems and mechanical materials. Experience preparing toolboxes and materials for shipboard projects. Basic electrical and mechanical assembly experience.
