Fort Myers, FL Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and motivated on-call Warehouse Associates to support our operations on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for individuals who are flexible, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will assist with picking, packing, inventory, and loading/unloading shipments while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick and pack orders accurately based on order slips or RF scanner systems Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets safely and efficiently Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track inventory and process orders Organize inventory and maintain stock in proper locations Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts or audits Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Schedule Details:
On-call / as-needed based on business demand Flexible scheduling (may include days, evenings, or weekends) Shifts may vary depending on workload Typical shifts run 7am-4pm or 8am - 5pm
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required Experience with forklift, pallet jack, or similar equipment preferred Comfortable using RF scanners or inventory tracking systems Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand/walk for extended periods Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Skills (Not Required): Forklift certification Experience in picking/packing and shipping/receiving Basic computer or inventory system knowledge
Language Preference:
Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
