Job Description

Join Our Team We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused Dock Hand / Yard Team Member to join our growing marina team. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to boat owners while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient marina environment. Whether assisting boaters at the docks, supporting vessel movements in the yard, or helping maintain marina facilities, successful candidates will enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team-oriented waterfront operation. Position Summary The Dock Hand / Yard Team Member is responsible for assisting with daily marina operations, including docking assistance, vessel handling support, yard maintenance, customer service, and general facility upkeep. Responsibilities Assist boaters with docking, departure, and line handling. Help launch, retrieve, move, and secure vessels under the direction of marina operators. Perform general marina and yard maintenance, including cleaning docks, walkways, and storage areas. Fuel vessels safely and efficiently while following environmental regulations. Assist with boat washing, and basic marina services as needed. Monitor docks and marina facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Maintain marina equipment, supplies, and work areas. Support forklift operators and service technicians with vessel movement and yard operations. Provide excellent customer service to marina guests and tenants. Follow all safety procedures and marina operating standards. Qualifications Previous marina, boating, marine industry, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred. Basic knowledge of boats and boating operations is a plus. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
