Warehouse Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall warehouse distribution. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Duties Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. Perform picking, packing and labeling duties for order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing shipments. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by the demands of the job. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and operational skills related to warehouse functions. Experience Proven experience in a warehouse setting with a strong understanding of warehouse management principles. Familiarity with inventory management practices, including order picking, stocking, and packaging processes. Knowledge of AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus. Previous experience in manufacturing environments will be beneficial. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
