Job Description

Job SummaryThe Warehouse Support Specialist at Baker Distributing CDC is a dynamic and integral role requiring a customer-centric focus and comprehensive knowledge of warehouse procedures. This individualrepresentsour organization, offering customer service support to clients and corporate management.

Essential Duties/AccountabilitiesRepresentBaker DistributingCDC'swith customer service supportto customers and Baker management.

Release Transfer and Sales Ordersin a Timely manner.

Respond to emails from Service Centersfor all requestsin a Timely mannerusing the Team Dynamix Service requester.

Maintain Transfer and Sales Orders that are written incorrectly by the Service Centers.

Batch Orders for UPS and LTL orders for transportation costefficiencies.

Screen Transfers and send untagged orders topurchasingfor their approval, then drop to warehouse when approved.

Stay current on any un-dropped orders or any that go into NC statusor have been sent topurchasingtoprevent notshipping orders that need to be shipped.

Ensure thatallorders are droppedtothe RF device beforecutoffis met.

Handleallshipping requirementsie.expeditedloads for CRD orders.

Scanreceivingdocuments and file paperwork.

Contact vendors and carriersregardingPO discrepancies,I.E.shortages, overages, and damages.

Follow up on all issues until resolved andmaintainnotes on all PO's inMincron.

Create and ship vendor returnsAnswer phone and emailsin a timely manner.

Assistwithordering ofoffice and warehouse supplies.

Assistinwarehouse,I.e.receiving, picking, BOL creation, or any other duties as needed.

Other duties/responsibilities as assignedSkillsAbility tooperatea computer andutilizesoftware applications, includingMincronWMS, AFS, and Excel spreadsheets.

A professional and courteous demeanor to effectively interact with personnel and management at all levels.

Assistwith various warehouse-related duties, including cycle counts and product verification.

Effective communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, and understanding, to ensure compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet customer service expectations.

Required to move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Visual acuity isrequiredto perform essential job functions such as reading labels, inspecting equipment,monitoringinventory, andoperatingmachinery.

Tasks may involve close vision, distance vision, color differentiation, peripheral awareness, depth perception, and visual focus.

Required tooperatewarehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
