Job Description

Position Summary The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, while maintaining accurate inventory and minimizing shrink through inventory control processes. This role involves receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing shipments of solar panels, inverters, racking hardware, and other related materials while maintaining accurate digital records of all inventory activity. They will also ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. ‭ Key Responsibilities‬ Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming shipments of solar equipment and materials. Pick and stage orders for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of fragile, high value solar products and verify shipping documentation. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Perform regular physical inventory cycle counts and stock reconciliation. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards. Ensure warehouse maintains stock levels and submit material requests as needed. Collaborate with procurement, and local operations teams to support timely project deliveries. Assist with other branch responsibilities as needed. ‭ Qualifications‬ High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-4 years of either warehouse and material handling experience in solar or other construction company, or solar installation experience that included pulling job materials Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc). Previous experience with ERPs or Netsuite a plus.
