Warehouse Receiving Associate

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate supporting our gift and souvenirs department. This role is responsible for receiving deliveries, checking in merchandise, unboxing shipments, and organizing inventory to ensure our sales floor is fully stocked and visually appealing for our guests. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring all merchandise is properly set up and scanning correctly before reaching the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices and packing slips Inspect merchandise for accuracy, damages, or missing items Unbox and prepare products for display or storage Work closely with the price book team to ensure all items are properly entered and scan correctly before being placed on the sales floor Organize and stock inventory in designated backroom and sales floor areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage area Label and price merchandise as needed Communicate any discrepancies or issues with shipments to management Assist with restocking the sales floor to ensure a well-presented shopping experience Follow company procedures for inventory control and loss prevention

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to keep up with high volume inventory deliveries. Must be able to work with set timelines for receiving and processing deliveries. Basic math and counting skills for inventory accuracy Basic technology skills working with back-office software and handheld scanners. Dependable with a strong work ethic Strong communication skills and ability to work with team members across departments Previous stockroom, warehouse, or receiving experience is required.

Work Environment:

Active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift Work takes place in both backroom and sales floor areas as well as external storage areas. Training will take place on day shift, schedule will evolve to overnight or early morning to have product checked in and organized before the next shift.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 75 lbs regularly Must be able to climb stairs Ability to safely handle boxes, merchandise, and stockroom equipment Must be able to perform duties outside during hot/cold weather in external storage areas.
