| Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Receiving Warehouse Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying deliveries, and ensuring accurate stock intake to support seamless warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience in shipping and receiving processes. Duties Receive incoming shipments by unloading trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts, ensuring safe handling practices. Verify delivered items against purchase orders and packing lists using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS). Accurately document received goods in the warehouse management system (WMS) and update inventory records accordingly. Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies and coordinate with suppliers or carriers to resolve issues promptly. Stock received items in designated storage locations, ensuring proper organization for easy retrieval during order picking. Assist with the loading of outgoing shipments by preparing packages, securing loads on pallets, and utilizing forklifts or load & unload equipment. Support order fulfillment activities by picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment according to customer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with the shipping & receiving team to optimize workflow and ensure timely processing of goods. Use basic math skills to verify quantities, calculate weights, and prepare shipping labels accurately. Skills Proven experience working in warehouse environments with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as AS400 or MR P. Skilled in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory control. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and suppliers.
