Job summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping supplies and materials to both internal and external customers in a timely and organized manner. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational flow by efficiently transporting, sorting, and stocking client shipments while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, follows safety protocols, and contributes to the overall success of the logistics team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
TIME SPENT Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, and/or pallet jack Core task involving movement of cargo within the warehouse for staging, receiving, and loading. 40% Segregates, consolidates, repacks, and prepares cargo for export shipments/deliveries based on instructions from the logistics operations team Includes physical handling, re-labeling, pallet prep, and compliance with shipping requirements. 30% Sorts and places cargo/pallets on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures Involves organizing inventory for accessibility and accuracy within the warehouse layout. 20% Prepares warehouse receipts with cargo details such as weight, dimensions, tracking/BOL numbers for receiving cargo Includes documentation, data entry, and ensuring receiving records are accurate and complete. 10% 100% Ongoing Expectations (To Be Performed 100% of the Time) Anticipates, identifies, and resolves customer and/or carrier issues before/or as they occur. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. Follows all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. Resolves internal and operation problems on a diligent and business efficient manner in order to prevent service deficiencies and/or customers' dissatisfaction Participates in quality improvement efforts. Adjust and adapt to ever-changing priorities and customer needs Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products. Checks outgoing documentation and verifies accuracy before releasing shipments. Additional duties as required by your supervisor/manager. Basic Qualifications:
Two to four years related experience in the warehouse. Forklift certification Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Proactive and attention to details. Ability to deliver time-pressured projects on-time and on-quality Commitment to excellence and high standards. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
