Warehouse Associate | Freezer Environment | Milton, FL

Overview Damian's Enterprises is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Milton, FL distribution facility. This is a physically demanding warehouse position in a frozen and refrigerated food distribution environment. Freezer work is a regular and expected part of this job. Candidates should be comfortable working in cold storage conditions while picking, staging, loading, organizing, and rotating product. Prior warehouse experience is helpful, but the most important qualifications are reliability, attention to detail, physical ability, willingness to work in freezer conditions, and the ability to follow warehouse procedures. This is not a light-duty warehouse position. We are looking for someone who can show up consistently, work safely, stay productive, and handle the demands of a cold storage warehouse. Duties Pick and stage frozen and refrigerated product Build route carts for delivery trucks Load and unload product Match product accurately to order sheets Use handheld technology for inventory and order verification Move product using pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other warehouse equipment Assist with product consolidation and returns Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas Follow company safety procedures and supervisor instructions Support warehouse operations as workload changes Required Qualifications Ability and willingness to work regularly in freezer and refrigerated environments Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, pull, and move throughout the shift Ability to read order sheets, labels, and product instructions accurately Ability to follow warehouse procedures and safety rules Ability to work independently after training Reliable transportation to and from the Milton facility Preferred Qualifications Prior warehouse experience Prior freezer, cold storage, food distribution, grocery, loading, picking, or staging experience Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, or similar warehouse equipment Forklift certification Experience using handheld warehouse systems Strong order accuracy and productivity history Who Does Well Here People who succeed in this role are dependable, physically capable, comfortable working in cold environments, and able to stay productive without constant supervision. This role may be a good fit for someone with experience in warehouse work, freezer work, grocery stocking, food distribution, order picking, loading, staging, route support, or general labor. This role is not a good fit for someone looking for light-duty work, climate-controlled warehouse work, or a position with limited freezer exposure.
