Job Description

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Verify and maintain records of daily incoming shipments daily. Inspect shipment for damage and check items to make sure the items matches with the packing list and purchase order invoice and enter in the receiving log and
AS400. II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Comply with standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) of the Company. Comply with safety rules and regulation. Pick raw material and components for Manufacturing and Packaging in accordance to the Job Instruction Pick Ticket. All raw material and components picked for Manufacturing and Packaging must be transferred from wood to plastic pallet then move to designated Staging Area. All staged jobs must be posted in AS400 immediately after staging. Perform cycle counts on all raw materials and components. Confer or correspond with Planning Department to rectify any raw material, component shortages, or allocations issues. Deliver stage jobs to departments using forklift, manual or electric pallet jack. Stock put-away released raw materials and components to its designated Warehouse Location. Maintain a clean and organize work area at all times. Responsible to comply with all our food safety and food quality programs, procedures, and policies or its references. Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations and safety procedures.
III. QUALIFICATIONS A. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA
(Minimal Technical Requirements) 1.Previous Related Experience Required Minimum of 3 years' experience in Warehouse Shipping and Receiving. 2.Technical Skills Required to Perform this Job
  • Warehouse Knowledge.
  • Must be able to Operate Forklift.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Inventory control system and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Good Team interaction capabilities.
3.Education (Minimal Education Needed) High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 4.Other Certification/Training Required to Gain Function-Related Technical Knowledge License Forklift Operator. 5.Other Requirements (Physical/Mental Demand, Schedule/Hours, Travel) Must be able to work overtime if needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to perform work standing for prolonged periods of time.

IV. INDIVIDUAL SPECIFIC JOB TASKS
Check all Raw Material and Component picked for jobs. Check the item # ,lot # , Description and Quantity for accuracy in accordance with the job Instruction pick ticket. All staged jobs must have a pallet label on each pallet with the job lot number information. All Raw Material and Component movement must be updated in AS400, immediately. Assist in physical Inventories and cycle counting activities. Report any process issues to the Warehouse Manager. Perform general warehouse maintenance. Notify Warehouse Manager immediately of any apparent product, property or container damage. Examine all returns coming out of Manufacturing and Packaging for proper labeling with item codes, lot number, quantity, and Description. All returns must be done in a timely manner. Ensure components, dietary supplements, packaging and labels are held under appropriate conditions. Deliver non-production shipments (i.e., office supplies) to the proper department. Report any accident or near misses to the Warehouse Manager, immediately. Assist in training co-worker's to fill in departmental needs. Identifies any deficiencies, constrains and/or problems that could impede the efficient process flow and assist and/or provide ideas and feedback to solve them. May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
