Material Handler / Warehouse Associate We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Material Handler for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Fort Myers Metro area. This role requires a blend of traditional warehouse labor skills and technical aptitude to handle specialized products and maintain efficient operations.

Position Details Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (plus any necessary overtime)

Warehouse Associate Key Responsibilities:

The primary function of this role is the hands-on handling of specialized products, strictly focusing on logistics tasks: Perform hands-on duties including loading, unloading, staging, inspecting, and packaging large items. Previous experience handling products such as appliances, furniture, bedding, or fitness equipment.. Execute inventory and stock updates using basic computer skills. Utilize RF scanners and barcode technology for accurate material tracking. Operate a forklift (experience preferred; in-house certification will be provided). Apply analytical thinking to interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as picking speed and accuracy. Perform basic troubleshooting for minor equipment issues (e.g., resolving printer issues, paper jams, and connectivity problems). Material Handler /

Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Skills:

Proven hands-on experience in product handling, specifically loading, unloading, inspecting, staging, and packaging. Experience with RF scanners and barcode technology. Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including data entry, shipment input, and inventory/stock updates. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and demonstrate analytical thinking.
