Opens a new window. •Veteran's Preference•Position Summary The Lumber Yard Attendant is responsible for assisting customers, organizing and maintaining lumber inventory, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring the yard remains clean, safe, and efficient. This position requires customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment

Responsibility :

Assist customers in locating and selecting lumber and building materials Primarily lumber outdoor work in a lumber yard setting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently Load, unload lumber and other construction materials safely Organize, stock and maintain inventory in the lumber yard Keep yard clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Pull and stage customer orders for ickup or delivery Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times Perform other duties as assigned by management Valid drivers license required for travel on property

Requirements:

High school diploma Previous lumber yard, warehouse, construction or retail environment is preferred but not required Operation of forklift May required occasional overtime based on business needs Company conducts background check Valid drivers license required for travel Employer has other requirements

Work Schedule :

Full-time; Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Salary :
