Job Description

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The CertainTeed Palatka plant is looking for motivated, reliable individuals ready to build a long-term career with a leader in building materials manufacturing. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. Your work directly supports our customers, our production teams, and the high standards that define the CertainTeed brand. Essential Duties:
Coordinate daily truck loading activities with the Warehouse Shipping Coordinator (Lead). Review pick lists and accurately pull and assemble products for shipment. Load outbound trucks safely, efficiently, and with full attention to product quality and quantity. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly. Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Assist with routine forklift maintenance. Organize finished goods and raw materials, ensuring proper rotation and inventory flow. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment. Contribute to 5S initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the warehouse. Perform additional duties as assigned.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
High school diploma or equivalent (required) One year of manufacturing experience (preferred) Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to work an 8-hour rotating shift Consistent, reliable attendance with the ability to work days, nights, or weekends as scheduled Willingness and ability to work overtime as required Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and a hard hat Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 70 pounds
