Summary DeConna Ice Cream is seeking a motivated and dedicated Relief Route Delivery Driver/Warehouse worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations throughout the Palm Bay area, efficiently and safely. Excellent customer interaction and professional attitude with safe and courteous driving skills is a must. A solid background with at least 1 year of Route Delivery experience. Must be reliable and dependable with the ability to adapt to changes in schedule. When not delivering working in the Warehouse will be required, order selecting and other duties as required. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. A clean motor vehicle record is required for this position. This is a preset Delivery Route to vendors, c-stores, schools, prisons, and other area business. You must have a valid Florida driver's license and ability to get back and forth to work every day. DeConna is a drug free work environment, a drug test will be required, as well as a background and MVR check.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods along assigned routes
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle
  • Follow the planned routes for timely deliveries
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by the recipient
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
  • Warehouse duties as assigned
Skills:
  • Experience with refrigerated and perishable goods
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations to facilitate loading procedures
