Required Qualifications:
Valid Florida driver's license Strong technical & mechanical skills Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated Capable of lifting 50+ pounds without restriction Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day Willingness to obtain a State of Florida Fire Extinguisher Permit Ability to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fire equipment industry experience Familiarity with NFPA 10 codes Current Florida fire extinguisher permit Safe driving record Strong organizational skills Self-motivated with attention to detail
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair, recharge, and test fire extinguishers daily using hand tools and hydrostatic test equipment Disassemble extinguishers to inspect parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling mechanisms; replace worn or damaged components Clean and properly recharge extinguishers Operate high and low pressure hydrostatic test equipment safely Operate recharge equipment for CO2 extinguishers Bead blast SCUBA tanks after hydrostatic testing Receive, unpack, and restock inventory as necessary Keep the warehouse organized Maintain a clean and presentable shop for walk-in customers Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned

Serviced Fire Equipment is a trusted name in fire extinguisher service. We provide high-quality fire protection equipment and maintenance to fire equipment dealers, businesses, and the general public. Our shop specializes in fire extinguisher recharges, hydrostatic testing, and CO2 refilling. This is a full-time position with work hours from:
Monday-Friday:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (One-hour lunch from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM) We are looking for a dedicated, energetic individual with a great attitude and a commitment to quality work. No prior experience? No problem! We provide training.
