We are looking for a Material Handler for our Sanford, Florida facility. In your role as a Material Handler, you will: Handle the day to day function of physical receipt of materials, proper identification comparing to receiving documents and assignment and movement to physical storage location. Handling the physical pulling from inventory, kitting of materials and delivery of materials to the designated production work site insuring accuracy and control of materials.
Responsibilities:
Physically handles materials and compares to invoice documentation. Identifies materials and assigns the appropriate parts number and location for storage. Ensures that damaged materials are identified and processed for return to vendor(s). Prepare reports of violations when necessary, collecting sufficient back-up evidence to support agency attorneys in prosecution. Physically handles both loading and unloading of materials. Pulls materials to place into kit format and delivers to the designated production work site. Handles monthly cycle counts of inventory, identifying shortages and issues. Working with inventory/receiving personnel on correcting and reporting issues. Assist mechanical department in obtaining proper parts, while maintaining proper records on parts sent and received for repair. All other assigned tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED). Must possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles. Forklift certification. Must have a minimum of one-year experience in Warehouse or Material Handler role. Minimum of one year experience working with Microsoft Office suite in office environment.
