Full Job Description About Hudson's Furniture:

Hudson's Furniture is a second-generation, family-owned company. We've been serving Florida residents with our mission of "Turning Houses into Homes" since 1981. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Furniture Loader to join our team. This role is essential in preparing furniture for delivery and ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Open, inspect, and prep furniture for delivery Stage furniture in designated areas for efficient loading Inspect furniture for damages or defects and report issues to a supervisor Ensure items are properly secured and protected for transportation Assist with assembling and disassembling furniture as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience is a plus Ability to perform physically demanding work including standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to lift up to 75 lbs independently Ability to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment Ability to use RF scanners and basic computer systems (as needed) Experience with pallet jacks, lift trucks, or floor equipment is a plus General maintenance skills are a plus
