Position Summary The Materials Handler plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing and warehouse operations by safely moving, staging, and tracking raw materials and finished goods. This position supports production flow, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures materials are available where and when needed. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Warehouse Support Receive raw materials and finished goods both physically and systemically Store materials in designated warehouse locations Pull, stage, load, and mix materials based on production work orders Return excess materials from production back to inventory Label and track materials accurately to maintain inventory integrity Load and unload materials or finished goods using forklifts or pallet jacks Production & Packaging Support Support production and packing areas as needed to maintain workflow Assist with staging materials for upcoming production runs Palletize, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage Perform basic visual inspections for label accuracy, damage, and/or defects Safety & Housekeeping Perform pre‑use inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift Follow all company safety rules and procedures Communicate issues or concerns to supervisors promptly Must‑Have Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Forklift certification required Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications Experience with inventory control or material tracking systems Prior experience working with production work orders Familiarity with palletizing, staging, or packing operations Skills & Competencies Forklift operation and safe material handling Time management and task prioritization Communication and teamwork Organization and problem‑solving Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Physical Requirements Frequently lift, push, or pull items weighing 50 lbs or more Stand and walk for extended periods Work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment Material Handler
