Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Production Stacker to join our roofing tile manufacturing team. In this role, you will work directly at the end of the tile-forming machinery line. Your primary responsibility will be carefully pulling, inspecting, and stacking finished roofing tiles as they are manufactured. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that requires excellent attention to detail to catch defective products and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Support:
Work directly alongside the tile-manufacturing machinery to receive freshly formed tiles as they exit the production line.
Quality Control & Inspection:
Inspect roofing tiles in real-time to ensure they are free of cracks, chips, or breakage. Immediately flag and separate any defective materials.
Heavy Stacking:
Carefully and securely stack finished roofing tiles onto pallets according to company stacking patterns to ensure safe storage and transport.
Housekeeping & Cleanliness:
Continuously clean and clear the area around the machinery, keeping the production floor free of tile debris, dust, and safety hazards.
Teamwork:
Coordinate closely with machine operators to maintain a smooth, steady production flow and avoid bottlenecks on the line.
Qualifications & Requirements Physical Stamina:
Must be able to lift and move up to 45 pounds consistently throughout an 8-to-10 hour shift.
Work Capacity:
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and reach repetitively in a manufacturing environment that can be warm, dusty, and noisy. Attention to
Detail:
Strong eye for quality control to quickly spot hairline cracks or imperfections in the tiles.
Background Check:
Must be able to pass a standard pre-employment criminal background check.
Reliability:
Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a strong safety-first work ethic are absolute requirements.
Work Environment Note:
This position involves working on a fast-paced production floor directly around heavy automated machinery. Safety gear (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection) is required at all times.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
