Responsibilities Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and ensuring proper documentation Conduct stock stocking, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities to meet customer demands Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA guidelines and practicing safe materials handling techniques during heavy lifting and mechanical operations Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow Utilize mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance checks and troubleshoot operational issues promptly Requirements Proven warehouse experience or related background in manufacturing, construction, or logistics environments preferred Familiarity with inventory control systems such as AS400 or similar warehouse management systems (WMS) Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of packaging, stock handling, and materials movement techniques Comfortable performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and extended periods of standing or walking Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety protocols Excellent attention to detail for inventory management tasks like order picking and shipping & receiving processes Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution!
