Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furniture Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this vital role, you will handle Assist with moving, loading, and unloading furniture safely and efficiently. Set up and stage the showroom for presentation to customers, creating attractive room displays and vignettes. Learn design and merchandising techniques to combine different furniture styles that complement the showroom environment. Clean, prepare, and maintain furniture using approved products and cleaning solutions. Your energy and precision will help ensure smooth warehouse operations and excellent order fulfillment for our customers. Duties Keep the showroom and warehouse organized, ensuring furniture with multiple components remains together and properly inventoried. Assemble furniture and accessories for display and customer presentation. Review delivery paperwork to verify that all correct items and components are loaded and received. Monitor upcoming deliveries and prepare warehouse space for incoming inventory. Track new inventory, inspect items upon arrival, clean merchandise, and prepare it for placement on the sales floor. Read and follow planograms and merchandising layouts to ensure proper product placement. Assist customers with loading purchases while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude. Experience Ability to lift and move heavy furniture safely. Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Attention to detail when handling merchandise and paperwork. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and customer service skills. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
