MATERIAL HANDLER II

Summary of Position Mission Responsible for the safe and damage free handling of all products and parts throughout the warehouse. Accurate acquisition and disposition of product in boundbook. Ensure product manipulations are accurate and timely. Safe operation of industrial equipment. Responsibilities-Material Handler II Certified on industrial equipment to move materials to and from various locations including, loading docks, trucks, and warehouse environment. Utilizes ERP system to locate product, pull product, master label manipulations, inventory inquiries, and troubleshooting. This list is not exclusive. Acquisition and disposition of product in boundbook using ERP system and always ensuring accuracy. Prepare packaging materials for product. Ensure labels are properly affixed, to outside of product container. Performs counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision as needed. Assemble boxes to meet established daily goals. Transports materials, supplies, and finished goods with care and caution. Maintain sound working knowledge and application of firearms safety. Perform initial inspection of own work to ensure that few or no mistakes are made in the assembly of the product. Produces the required quantity of parts and/or product to meet established daily goals. Working Conditions Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. Exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of light manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
