Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position requires an organized individual who can work well under deadlines. Candidate must be self-motivated and a team player.WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ship/Receive all items for D12
- Organize and keep a clean warehouse and premises
- Maintain accurate inventory and update as necessary
- Pick/pull proper cabinets and furniture as directed
- Manage temp workers to complete tasks if necessary
- Palletize, wrap, strap, weigh, measure and label items for shipping in a neat and organized manner
- Load and unload all trucks to meet weight and pallet restrictions
- Facility maintenance
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Job to be located in Athens, Georgia (685 Athena Drive)
- Basic computer skills required
- Level of comfort and experience using Excel and Outlook
- Ability to stay organized and use time efficiently
- Capacity to work independently
- Position requires the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory
- Provide and explain information to various managers
- Offer input at meetings and share ideas on how to improve warehouse efficiencies
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. recurrently
- Forklift experience preferred
- Willing to get forklift certified/ OSHA training
- Prepared to work in unfavorable climate conditions if necessary
- Valid driver's license required

- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
