Warehouse Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and assisting in shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. Perform picking and packing of orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in inventory control measures to minimize loss. Utilize mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of warehouse equipment as needed. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, including stocking, order picking, and materials handling. Familiarity with inventory management practices and warehouse distribution processes. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including cranes and forklifts. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
