Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse/Rug Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced rug workroom and distribution operation! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes, from receiving shipments to preparing orders for delivery. Your proactive approach will help us maintain efficient warehouse distribution and uphold high standards of accuracy and safety. If you thrive in a lively environment where teamwork and attention to detail are key, this position is perfect for you! Duties Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, adhering to safety protocols. Operate warehouse management system to accurately track inventory movements, order picking, and stock updates. Assist in Serging, Picking, packing, and prepare orders for shipping with precision, ensuring correct quantities and proper packaging. Use production boards or similar warehouse systems to update inventory records and track production processes seamlessly. Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with rug workroom techniques such as serging, binding, etc. is highly preferred. Valid certification for forklift operation is a plus. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, picking & packaging techniques. Comfortable using pallet jacks, load & unload equipment, and order picker tools safely.
