Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a General Labor Picking Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the efficient operation of our warehouse and farm-related facilities. In this role, you'll be responsible for selecting, handling, and preparing a variety of materials, livestock, or farm products with precision and care. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth workflows, safety compliance, and high-quality output. Responsibilities Accurately pick and assemble orders using hand tools, forklifts, and heavy equipment to meet daily quotas. Operate farm machinery, irrigation systems, and power tools safely to support agricultural tasks. Handle animals with care, including feeding, cleaning, and basic animal husbandry practices to promote health and well-being. Conduct equipment repairs or welding as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Supervise or assist with the supervision of team members during picking operations to ensure safety and productivity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including greenhouse spaces and storage facilities. Perform routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and farm machinery; report issues promptly for maintenance or repair. Qualifications Prior supervising experience in a warehouse or farm setting is preferred but not required. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, or maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with animal husbandry, animal handling, and livestock care practices. Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, hand tools, and other farm equipment safely. Basic math skills for inventory management and measurement tasks. Experience with horticulture, greenhouse operations, or growing crops is a plus.
