Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining a safe workspace. This role involves loading and unloading materials, handling inventory, and utilizing equipment such as forklifts and carpet rolling machines. Duties Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring accurate handling of goods. Perform materials handling tasks including sorting, stacking, and organizing products within the warehouse. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety. Collaborate with team members to deliver large pallets of flooring to customer homes. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing warehouse duties. Experience Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely like forklifts. Must be able to lift 50+ LBS consistently. Valid Driver's License. DOT (Commercial Driver's License) not required but preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
