Material Handler Brenntag Mid-South, LLC - 3.1 East Point, GA Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Benefits Paid parental leave Health insurance 401(k) On-the-job training Parental leave Employee assistance program Qualifications Forklift Certification Computer operation Safety protocol adherence Customer service Labeling Computer literacy Moving Forklift Manual packaging Receiving shipments Shipping and receiving inventory management Desktop applications Loading Warehouse experience Delivery record maintenance Computer skills Materials handling Material handling equipment operation Entry level Full Job Description Responsibilities Filling drums & totes with chemicals Container preparation (labeling, stenciling, etc.) Maintain shipping and receiving logs Makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition Move raw materials to the production area and moves finished products to the warehouse Required to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties Your Profile Education & Experience Chemical or warehouse experience preferred Forklift experience preferred Required to lift up to 50 pounds and pull up to 100 pounds Ability to maintain a good safety and attendance record. Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other departments and personnel in meeting customer needs. Knowledge of forklift operation, with certification. Skills associated with a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer skills sufficient to efficiently perform the job requirements. Ability to understand and comply with the responsibilities of the job as outlined in the Job description. Ability to understand and carry out process descriptions applicable to the job. Willingness to accept overtime (both scheduled and impromptu), to be subject to and available for call-in, and to work other shifts as needed to meet customer needs.
