S_175432 The Material Handler / Inventory Coordinator supports daily production by receiving, organizing, staging, and tracking all raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, timely material flow to fabrication teams, and proper documentation for made-to-order steel components. The position requires attention to detail, safe material-handling practices, and the ability to work closely with production, purchasing, and quality teams. #IND123

Responsibilities:

Verifies, administers and keeps records on outgoing shipments. Compares identifying information and count; weight, or measure items to prepare items for shipment. Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates and prepares shipping documentation. The ability to use MS Office, ProfitLab, emails, micrometers, calipers, scales, and basic hand tools is required. Operate material handling equipment. Serves as backup to Outside Services and Shipping Manager. Perform daily forklift inspections.
